ROLE MODEL

Role Model (Tucker Pillsbury) first made waves with his 2022 debut album Rx, a confessional and genre-blurring pop record that introduced him as a bold new voice in alternative music. With his sophomore album Kansas Anymore, Role Model showcases his evolution as a songwriter and performer with 13 folk-tinged, lyrically driven tracks. Working alongside Noah Conrad, Ian Fitchuk, Scott Harris, and Jonah Shy, he crafted standout pieces including the viral hit “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” which he performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” He also took the stage at “Saturday Night Live” and performed his hit track with surprise guest, Charli XCX, followed by a performance of “Some Protector.” Following the success of his No Place Like Tour, which sold over 90,000 tickets worldwide, he released a deluxe edition, Kansas Anymore (The Longest Goodbye), featuring four new songs that expand the emotional and sonic scope of the original album. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Pillsbury is stepping into the world of acting with his debut role in Good Sex, the upcoming Netflix film from Lena Dunham, starring opposite Natalie Portman and Mark Ruffalo. Most recently, Role Model announced his highly anticipated new album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, will arrive on August 7.

Samia

Singer-songwriter Samia’s success is rooted in what she calls a “pathologically confessional” songwriting style. Peeling back pretense to expose the rawest nerves of the human experience, the 29-year-old New Yorker has established herself as one of indie rock’s most vital and deeply honest voices.

Samia first introduced herself with 2020’s coming-of-age confessional The Baby, an intimate love letter to the sentiments most difficult to articulate. Anchored by gut-wrenching tracks like “Is There Something In The Movies,” her debut instantly captured the attention of critics and fans alike. She deepened that exploration of young womanhood on 2023’s Honey, searching for clarity on painful ballads like “Kill Her Freak Out” and the bittersweet, irony-laced title track. But with her breakout 2025 record, Bloodless, Samia truly arrived. Sure-footed and confident, the album paired her most ambitious work yet with diaristic potency across anthemic highs like “Bovine Excision” and “Carousel.”

These releases, alongside her magnetic live performances, have earned Samia widespread critical praise, over 300 million streams, and a fiercely devoted fan base eager to scream along to every word. And while she has shared stages with indie heavyweights like Maggie Rogers, Lucy Dacus, and Courtney Barnett, her smallest performance might be her most memorable. In

2025, a heart-rending rendition of The Baby’s epic album-opener “Pool,” recorded live for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, caught fire online, amassing billions of views across social media. Whether commanding an intimate session or playing to sold-out rooms around the world, Samia continues to prove that her disarming honesty is her greatest gift.
